STEP BY STEP PROCESS
1. LET'S HAVE A CHAT
Get in touch with me via my contact form below or DM me on Instagram, make sure to include your preferred size portrait and how many pets you'd like included. I have a waiting list, so if you need a specific date it's best to let me know early. Then once agreed just send over your favourite reference photos.
2. SECURE YOUR SPOT
Once a brief has been agreed, I will ask for a 50% deposit via bank transfer which confirms your spot. (and now it's the fun part) I will ask if you'd like to receive progress photos of your drawing coming to life in real-time, or keep it as a total surprise until the final reveal. Everything is totally up to you!
3. THE FINAL REVEAL
Once your portrait is complete I will send you a final photo of your drawing. And I will then ask for the remaining balance to be paid. Once payment has been received, I will start packaging up your drawing and get it on its way to you.
SIZES & PRICES
Additional sizes and extra subjects are available by quotation, please submit your requirements on the contact form below.
I can recommend the sizes based on your reference photos and what I think would work best for your needs. You could also consider what your drawing would look like in a frame as this may change your opinion on which option you pick.
REFERENCE PHOTOS
The reference photo I draw from is arguably the most important part of the process. For the best results I always ask for a high quality, clear image, ideally in natural light, showing your pets face in the centre.
I normally use one main photo to draw from but a selection of photos in different lightings/ poses/ fur compositions always helps. I strive to capture the most likeness and detail as possible.
If you're unsure on which reference photo to pick - I can offer advice and work with you as the better the photo, the better the drawing. I do understand sometimes you may commission a drawing of your pet that's no longer with us, and in these instances I will always do my best and work with what photos you can provide.
PACKAGING
Your drawing will be packaged and mounted with a backing board ready for framing. It will be sealed in cellophane to protect your drawing in transit and presented with tissue paper. What else comes with my portrait? Artwork care slip, certificate of authenticity, hand written thank you note, business cards to share with your friends and family.
All my pet portraits are created with the highest quality materials to ensure your drawing will stand the test of time. And you might even be able to see your portrait featured on my social media page, I sometimes record short videos and log progress photos after the portrait has been gifted.

MEET THE ARTIST (aka Professional Dog Mum)
I'm Nichole a 25 year old artist from the UK, who turns your favourite pet photos into realistic hand-drawn pencil portraits of your pets. Sasi Art Studio wasn't born because I had a "business idea" but rather my camera roll was filled with 90% dog photos. And eventually those photos turned into drawings, which made perfect sense as my second love to dogs is drawing. Somewhere between getting a dog and adjusting to our new routine, and drawing pets on the side, this accidentally became my personality (and my business too).
THE ADVENTURES BEHIND THE DRAWING
I've made it my mission to explore every dog-friendly inch of this country - from road tripping in the Scottish highlands (this one is at Kylesku Bridge, Scotland) to coffee dates in our local town.
